- Erasmus 24_7 is the first documentary about the Erasmus program. We are traveling around 7 cities in Europe, to live the Erasmus life with 7 students from 7 different countries. The are living in a new city, studying in another language, discovering different cultures, becoming European brothers and sisters. From a bright morning in Istanbul to a red sunset in Lisbon, sipping an espresso in Rome and drinking cervezas in Valencia. Living 24 hours with Erasmus students.—ZERO
- Erasmus 24_7 is the first documentary about Erasmus: the longest living and most important international exchange student programme in Europe. Shot across seven European cities, the documentary portrays twentyfour hours in the life of seven European students living abroad, in a seamless narration of their everyday life. Berlin, Prague, Valencia, Bordeaux, Rome, Istanbul and Lisbon become one single city, while seven students become one single protagonist, opening the doors to students' dormitories, cheap flats, old classrooms and night parties. Everything starts in a warm dawn in Prague, where portuguese acting student Daniel slowly walks back home - an eighteenth century building on the Soukenickà that in the last decades has become a student-only living space. At the same time around Europe other students are waking up. In Valencia, German engineering student Julian goes for an early workout: he has discovered a new passion in his free time there, American Football, that he practices playing for Valencia Giants. He also fell in love with an italian girl, their love story was born in a foreign country and a foreign language. Somewhere else, Languages student Rita tells how living in a students' dormitory in East Berlin has taught her the ever changing (and sometimes challenging) concept of home; while Roy, a dutch Economics student, lives the contrasts of Istanbul, and French Law student Cèline faces the differences between her native uni in Paris and the biggest university centre in Europe: chaotic Rome's Sapienza. In Bordeaux, Deniz is a turkish girl who now feels like she has been living in France forever, and takes the audience to the secret flat parties that you can only know about if you are a student: they are the same crazy melting pot in Bordeaux as they are in Berlin and Prague, while in Lisbon Hungarian student Zsofia is spending the night working at a bar, until dawn. From one morning to another, twenty four hours in the days and lives of the seven protagonists melt into a single emotional portrait of a whole generation.—ZERO
