Sex & Nudity

    • The opening credits feature close-ups of a fully nude woman's body.
    • A computer background briefly displays a photo of a topless woman.
    • A movie clip briefly shown on a TV features a woman fingering another nude woman. Not graphic, though breasts are visible.
    • Throughout the film there are many crude conversations about sex acts, sex toys and genitals.
    • A clip from Haxan (1922) is shown onscreen, which features a heavily shadowed, yet fully nude woman seen from behind.
    • There is talk of a bizarre sex act which involves shoving a fish hook into a vagina.
    • A woman attempts to rape her female friend. Much groping is involved, though no nudity is seen.
    • There is a fairly graphic sex scene in which a woman offers herself sexually to another woman for money. The scene that follows is a few minutes long and involves full frontal nudity, breast fondling, off screen depictions of fingering, one woman licking her vaginal fluid off of the other woman's fingers, and one of the women shoving a fish hook into the other's vagina until she orgasms. The fish hook act is brief and takes place off screen, but is very disturbing.
    • The main character beats a nude, tied up woman in her room. She also strangles the woman with a chain and forces her onto her knees while unzipping her pants.
    • The main character is seen showering. No nudity.
    • A man threatens to rape the main character. He makes graphic sexual comments and pins her to the wall, but does not rape her.
    • A woman undresses and is seen fully nude from behind.

Violence & Gore

    • The opening credits feature surreal shots of guns firing and blood splattering, done in a music video style.
    • During a dream sequence, a severely beaten and bloodied man is strangled with a chain.
    • A woman attempts suicide via a pill overdose and is revived through forced vomiting.
    • A man tells a story from his childhood of when he bullied a retarded child. In this story he describes how he threw a rock at the child's eye, causing it to burst and partially blind him. This is played for laughs, though some might find it disturbing.
    • During a few scenes, characters describe their sadistic urges and desire to kill in graphic detail, featuring descriptions of the violent acts they wish to commit.
    • A man is shot twice in the chest and pistol whipped. Somewhat bloody.
    • The second half of the film features much gunplay, stabbings and brutal beatings, often with graphic close-ups.
    • A man is shot three times, has his legs broken (off screen) and is stabbed in the eye.
    • During a confrontation scene, the main villain pistol whips a man and stomps on his head off screen. The victim's brutalized face and scarring is seen later.
    • A man slashes another man's hand with a knife, resulting in some blood.
    • A woman attempts to rape her female friend.
    • A woman shoves a fish hook into another woman's vagina (off screen) and is seen licking blood off her fingers.
    • A man is shot in the throat, with much blood gushing onto him.
    • A man is strangled with a chain and beaten with a hammer. His bloody head wounds are visible.
    • A nude woman is beaten and strangled. Her bruised and bloodied face is seen after the scene.
    • A woman cuts her back with a knife while showering. Very bloody.
    • Buckets and puddles of vomit after a period of binge drinking are seen throughout a house.
    • A man pins a woman to the wall and threatens to rape her.
    • A hit-man shoots a young woman and her younger niece. Seen from a distance. Not bloody.
    • A woman slits her wrist with a razor blade. Brief, but very bloody.
    • The main character dreams of shooting a woman in the face at point blank range. In the dream, the woman survives two gunshots, but screams and writhes in pain with each one.
    • The main character breaks into a man's house and beats him.
    • A woman has her throat slit off screen. Her corpse is discovered and her very bloody wound is visible, with blood on the floor around her.
    • A woman strikes an attacker in the face with a brick and stabs him multiple times. The scene shows a close-up of his bloody stab wounds as the knife enters.
    • There is a massacre scene in which five people are shot to death. One man is shot in the neck, with a heavy blood spray shown in slow motion. Another man is shot twice in the torso and struck in the head with a hatchet. Two women are shot in the chest, with heavy blood spray. Another woman is shot in the face. The close-up on her face wound, with blood, bone and layers of torn skin visible, is likely the most graphic image in the film.
    • A woman slices a man's wrists, digs into the wounds with her fingers and (off screen) skins him alive. It is implied that she later eats his remains.
    • A man shoots a woman three times, with bloody close-ups and blood spray visible.
    • A woman shoots a man, stabs him multiple times in the stomach, with bloody close-ups shown, and stabs him in the neck.
    • There is a brief close-up of a character's back, covered in blood after having been shot.
    • A decayed woman's graphic throat slitting wound is visible.

Profanity

    • There is much profanity throughout, with "cunt" and "fuck" used most often. Milder swear words such as shit, damn and hell are also used.
    • A few characters also use offensive terms such as "faggot" and "retard." A talking dog seen on TV says "nigger lovers"
    • There are jokes about rape and the holocaust.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Valerie is an alcoholic and is seen drinking heavily throughout most of the film. In the middle of the film, she binge drinks to the point of vomiting heavily. Her house is littered with puddles and buckets of vomit. Other characters are also seen drinking throughout. Valerie is also seen smoking during a few scenes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

    • The film has an intense mood throughout and deals with themes of crime, sadism and mental illness.
    • The attempted rape scenes are emotionally intense.
    • The scenes in which characters graphically describe their sadistic desires are potentially unnerving.
    • At a party, a looming man with a creepy expression suddenly appears and flirts with the main character. Played for laughs, but some might find this scene creepy.
    • Valerie has many frightening and disturbing dreams, one that involves her strangling a man, and another that involves her shooting a woman in the face multiple times, only for her to survive the horrific wounds. Her dream of a demonic woman standing at the foot of her bed and attacking her, with loud sounds accompanying, is frightening.
    • The main character and her cohort are attacked by a severely disfigured, zombie-like meth addict while breaking into his home. Valerie chases the meth addict throughout his house while he shoots at her from the darkness as loud music plays.
    • The scene in which the main villain confronts the main character and her cohorts is very tense.
    • The "fish hook" sex act described in the Sex & Nudity section is very disturbing.
    • There are a few death scenes of innocent characters during the final act that are potentially upsetting and emotional.
    • Toward the end of the film, the main character sneaks into a dark house with a flashlight and gun, expecting to find attackers waiting inside. This scene is not violent, but has a tense/creepy atmosphere to it.
    • The massacre scene, which also involves a few innocent bystanders murdered, is very intense.
    • Bizarre screeching sounds are heard throughout the film.
    • A ghostly woman suddenly appears by a camp fire in an isolated area at night.
    • The final scene, which involves exploring an isolated house with a tormented spirit in the attic, is very tense and potentially scary.
