The opening sequence graphic that contains teleportation data shows planetary destination coordinates 39.744410, -104.990278 which does, in fact, specify the exact actual location of the alley behind the Paramount Theater in Denver where Alec arrives (and where the scene was shot). Similarly geeky, the destination time address shown in decimal, 2025.6598744, really is August 25, 2025 at 20:30 hours, but that is only "approximately" the date and time the scene was filmed.
For non-geeks, the teleportation status "E-R Bridge Opening" and "E-R Bridge Stable" are shorthand for an "Einstein-Rosen bridge" otherwise known as a "wormhole", which has been postulated as a structure that might allow traveling through space and time.
Writer/Director Berg wrote the treatment for "Enhanced" in about one day, but he credits the fast work as being a result of influence by psy-trance music tracks from "Telekinetic" and "Supernova" playing in the background as he was writing.
A few festivals have reacted to "Enhanced" by saying it was too "Terminator"-like for their taste, but Writer/Director Berg usually responds that while his intention was always very much to create an "homage" to "Terminator" in the beginning of "Enhanced" (for example, a buff Alec arrives from the future naked in an alley), the film tells a much different story. Berg goes on to say that "Alec is modified, but he's not a robot. Instead of hunting to kill his target, he makes love to her. The film's poignant social message is about the power of governments when they choose to keep knowledge from their people."
