- The team investigates the murder of a woman at a Marine's home. They assume she's his wife but when the man arrives he says the woman is not his wife. They learn she's a grifter who saw the wife was not there so she broke in and was in the process of robbing the place when she was killed. Ducky finds something on her body that appears to be a calling card. McGee thinks Delilah might know what it is. He calls her and she says that it's the calling card of a terrorist she's been hunting but the agent she works with won't let her say more. Gibbs tracks down where the man is staying and they wait for him. But it's Delilah who shows up with other agents. They learn just how much she knew about the man but the agent won't let her say. They try to find the man, while McGee tries to work things out with Delilah.—rcs0411@yahoo.com
- A woman comes from the hardware store and doesn't notice a man sneaking around her garage. He sneaks up on her when she gets off the phone and attacks.
At the office, Tony and Ellie bust McGee for flirting with Agent Tina Larson, even offering to let her stay with him while she apartment hunts. He insists it's innocent, but they note he's been away from Delilah for six months.
Gibbs interrupts with the body of the week at off-base housing.
The victim is slashed and bloody in the garage.
The house is registered to Holt Perkins, who arrives back from leave as the team is on the scene. But he starts saying "thank you" -- the victim is not his wife. He's never seen her before.
Inside, Perkins can tell someone has been staying in the house, but his wife Leandra is nowhere to be found. He told his wife he'd be back from leave in a week so he could surprise her. He finds his home gym cleaned out. Remembering the drill bits the victim had, they ask about Holt's safe.
In Abby's lab, she IDs the victim by her fingerprints as Mallory Bleeker, a convicted thief. She hadn't cracked the safe yet. They check Leandra Perkins' social network sites and find she's been at a health spa for the past four days. Previous posts mention her husband is on duty. The thief was staying in their empty house.
In the morgue, Duckie reports that Mallory was tabbed with a blunt knife. There was a piece of paper with a logo on it stuffed in her bra, probably put there post mortem.
Tony interviews Mallory's brother, Scott, a former accomplice. He says he hasn't talked to his sister in a year but insists he's out of crime. He gives a prostitute as his alibi.
Gibbs comes in and shows Scott the symbol on the paper. He insists he's never seen it. McGee watches from observation and recognizes it.
He calls Delilah in Dubai and confirms that they're tracking a terror group called Dragon's Tooth. As they're talking, Agent Larson interrupts asking for McGee's extra apartment key.
In MTAC, Delilah and her Homeland Security boss Rafi Ali brief NCIS. Dragon's Tooth uses social media to harass military members and their families. It's run by Omer Malik, a British citizen. Vance isn't impressed that they don't have more info and Ali ends the call abruptly. McGee is uneasy with how cozy Ali seemed with Delilah.
In the conference room, Holt blames Leandra for oversharing on their social networking page. They identify a friend on the list that neither recognizes.
McGee texts Delilah after not hearing from her all night. He found that Omer Malik is the cousin of Bashir Malik, who was an accomplice in the bombing that paralyzed Delilah, which she didn't mention.
Tony got one message from her about Agent Larson, but then nothing. He insists he cleared that up.
In the lab, Abby has connected the mystery friend on the list to Omer Malik. She found reference to a meeting taking place in less than an hour.
At the apartment, they intercept a pizza delivery guy and Ellie poses as him to get the man inside to open up. He says Malik is his roommate and he found him on Craigslist. He knows Malik is supposed to be meeting someone soon, but it hasn't happened yet.
The team waits until there's a knock on the door -- it's Delilah and a bunch of armed ICE agents. She explains to Tim that Malik was meeting her deep cover alias. She's been in the States for a week.
Rafi Ali arrives and insists he was protecting his operation by not telling them. He continues being too friendly with Delilah.
Back at the office, McGee worries that something is going on with Delilah and Ali and Tony tries to convince McGee to give her some space.
Ali arrives and they gather in MTAC to watch home movies found in Malik's apartment. They're recordings of him breaking into empty houses and disturbing just enough to creep people out. Gibbs gets to work on IDing Malik's accomplice, whoever was holding his camera. Vance tells Ali that NCIS will handle the case.
When they're alone in MTAC, Ali assures McGee that he and Delilah were staying in separate rooms.
Downstairs, Ellie and Tony talk about the way social media is being used to recruit terrorists.
In the lab, Abby and McGee find the camera man touching the Perkins' banister. They trace his fingerprints and find it's the pizza delivery guy from outside Malik's apartment. He insists Malik found him online and he was only helping because it paid well. He says the Perkins house was supposed to be empty and Malik panicked when they saw the thief.
He offers them intel on Delilah's alias, saying that Malik was incredibly into recruiting her. Gibbs wants to use Delilah as bait. She finally calls McGee and he goes to see her. They start arguing about her keeping her orders from McGee. They both say they don't want to break up, but McGee says it sounds like they are.
There's a knock at the door. McGee answers -- it's Malik holding a gun on him.
Gibbs calls McGee and gets his voice mail.
Rafi arrives at NCIS and is promptly hauled back into the elevator by Tony, Ellie and Gibbs, who demand he take them to the safehouse.
At the apartment, Malik has McGee and Delilah tied up on the floor. He wants to know if Delilah is really interested in selling him DOD secrets. With Malik out of earshot, McGee urges her to tell him what he wants to hear.
McGee and Delilah start fighting for Malik's benefit, but also hash out their own issues. "Why did you move half way around the world?" McGee asks. "Why did you let me?" "Because I love you," he says.
Malik buys it enough to crack McGee over the head and free Delilah. He gives her a gun, insisting that she shoot McGee to prove her allegiance.
As Malik holds a gun on her, McGee urges Delilah to pull the trigger, saying it's a test. She can't do it. McGee lectures her, saying the gun wasn't loaded, which is why he said it was a test.
Delilah reveal her plan, taking a knife out of her boot and stabbing Malik in the leg. He falls over McGee and drops his gun. McGee and Malik are scrambling for it when NCIS busts in.
After McGee is untied, he finally kisses Delilah a proper hello.
The next morning at NCIS, McGee is all smiles. Delilah joins them. Agent Ali was suspended for gross negligence. Delilah was promoted and she's moving back to DC.
