Lynchian Short Film
pauluswiggus27 May 2021
Very reminiscent of the many short video projects David Lynch (a noted influence on Guy Maddin) has directed, with perhaps better production values. A eerie voice narrates a description of Elm trees that is dark and unnerving. The montage images of trees are often presented with disturbing back-projection images of faces behind them, creating a sinister tone. Really just a mood piece, given it only runs three minutes, but quite good for what it is.
