"Blame" was Richard Blake's first optioned screenplay in 2006. It was purchased as a 10 year option. In 2016, the option expired and the rights returned to Blake who was directing another project. After three updated re-writes, he sent the script to director BJ Rayniak who produced and directed the film in 2019.
