Ryu Yamada is a high school student with a reputation as a trouble maker, Urara Shiraishi is the hard working top student in school; and then one day they bump into each other and fall down the stairs... literally changed their lives! When they get up they find they have swapped bodies. It turns out that as they fell they shared an accidental kiss and this triggered a magical power. The deputy head of the student council discovers their power and suggests they reform the school's defunct 'Supernatural Studies Club' to start investigating their power. We soon learn that there are more people with powers in the school. The club expands and searches for the new 'witches. Each of the seven withes has their own distinct power which require a kiss to activate; Urara has the body swapping power, another has the power to make people fall in love with her and another sees a glimpse of the other person's future. Ryo, who is not a witch himself has a different power; he has the power to copy the power of the person he kisses. As the story progresses we learn that there is a danger to identifying all of the witches but also a tremendous power; anybody who can assemble the seven will be granted any wish.
This is a fun series with lots of laughs and an interesting story. One might expect the body-swapping to lead to plenty of fan service as people find themselves in the bodies of the opposite gender; thankfully this is dealt with fairly early on and even then it isn't overly sleazy. At only twelve episodes the story isn't dragged out and we learn the identities and skills of the various witches fairly quickly. It doesn't mean things are rushed either; enough time is spent introducing each of the characters. The characters are all well designed and distinctive and the animation is pretty good too. At the end the story is wrapped up nicely in a way that I'm sure will satisfy most viewers. Overall this series was good fun, and quite a bit better than I'd expected.
