- Player characters can die in a variety of ways, all though there's never any detail, it could be disturbing to some. Deaths could include drowning, being trampled, falling off a cliff, getting attacked by an enemy, etc. And whenever the deaths happen, the surviving character will react in despair to this.
- A young girl's village is destroyed by a violent man. Nothing is seen, but some cartoonish cutscenes show him breaking down houses and assaulting people attempting to run away.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- At the beginning of the game, and several other times throughout, the girl and fox are chased by a violent polar bear, these sequences are pretty tense since they'll be forced to fight sometimes.
- A young girl's village is destroyed by one man, though the act isn't seen in any detail, it's still pretty shocking.
- The tone of the game, while fairly light-hearted at times, can still be pretty intense or otherwise emotional throughout as it progresses.

Violence & Gore
- A fox has it's neck presumably broken by a man, no detail is seen whatsoever, but the subject matter is very shocking and disturbing. A girl, saddened by this death, buries the fox, but then it comes back as a spirit and technically survives.
- A man falls into freezing cold water and presumably drowns offscreen.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- One of the main characters, the fox, is killed by a man for no real reason. This scene, while not graphic, is very shocking and sad. The girl then buries the fox and cries, believing she's all alone now. However, the fox then appears as a kindred spirit to guide the girl the rest of the way, so the scene ends happily.
- The two main characters are chased by a man trying to kill them throughout the game. These sequences are pretty intense since he gets pretty close to the player many times. Later, they get into a long fight with him which results in the man falling through thin ice into icy cold water, it's assumed that the man drowned as a result.
- The main characters are chased by a massive giant after one steals it's pickaxe. This scene is particularly intense since the player is also required to solve puzzles while running away and there are some loud sound effects while the camera starts shaking violently as it gets closer.
