Routine, uninteresting porn posing as documentary
The familiar kisser (and cock) of porn comic Keith Erickson stands out in this fake documentary, a remnant of the early age of porn features where fear of censorship caused some filmmakers to jump through hoops to present their product as educationally valid. This one fails on all counts.
Credits emphasize the international nature of the production, though once we're indoors for some good old-fashioned humping it is likely on the West Coast rather than the Far East.
A brief survey of erotic art, plus an interview with a sex worker at a bar in Taipei provide the patina of seriousness at the outset. That hokey approach lives on today, obvious in numerous HBO sex documentaries that pretend they're serious when in fact no different from the company's fictional Cinemax programming.
In the bedroom an Oriental girl speaking English services an American after he reads a price list for specific acts, and there's plenty of cum generated.
Two guys in a Taipei girly bar choose girls from a lineup; nude girls are shown in Japanese baths. Erickson as Bill gets a massage then a blow job.
Barry meets Suki at the USO in Tokyo, cuing travelogue footage along the Ginza. On stage we watch a striptease dance and lesbian sex, but no audience is shown. The strap-on XXX action is cross-cut with Suki & Barry at it in a bedroom and lesbian action back at the massage parlor featuring a busty blonde. Public display of phallic symbols in Japan is emphasized.
A Hong Kong travelogue features a couple frolicking on the beach. The everyday life of a prostitute and her roommate in Kowloon is depicted. Then Keith as Bill returns supposedly picked up by English-speaking Sunny in a bar; she was born in the U.S.A. They discuss sex and prices, then hump on a water bed, obviously shot back in an L.A. studio. Their footage is cross-cut with the two girls of Kowloon and their johns.
Keith's humping in this scene is soft-core but leads to a XXX-rated blow job eliciting copious cum. End tile reads threateningly: "THE END???".
Not so much ado about nothing.
