an overly-sappy over-long tale
Simulcron28 October 2017
Another robot as pathos story. Overly sappy. A story told much better if it were compressed to 3 or 4 minutes instead of 10.

Great CGI but doesn't do much with it in story.

A dumb human is cartoonish mean guy abusing and enslaving small robot with big eyes (that couldn't plausibly see).

You want to like it a lot, but can't.

memories

A story remembering "Wall-E". a touching friendship little adventure. noble as intention. forced at the level of tools. because, something is too much. and something missing. sure, one of films of a generation who is convinced than CGI solves everything. but, in this case, not surprising, the touching and too sensitive pretext, the man as version from "Animal Farm" are a sort of handicapts because sacrifice a good way to explore the meet between two lead characters and, in same measure, propose a sketch of end. so, beautiful. and, maybe, this is enough for define it as ressurection of memories about same theme.

Thought It Was Kind of Nice

This is a kind story of a robot, trained only to do dishes in a greasy spoon. When he meets a hummingbird. Of course, the little guy introduces him to something outside of his tight little world. No criticism of the film except we've all seen it before.
