Not as bad as people say.

Many fans are hating this episode since it uses the animation style of the Netflix series. While that was a poor choice, I don't have a HUGE issue with that. Sure, the original designs are much superior, but I don't think it's a terrible thing that the characters were re-designed.

One thing that people should enjoy about this episode is that it's based on a Bible story, which is what Veggie Tales was created for. After 5 years of mostly fairy tale adaptations(and mostly crummy ones at that), they go back to their core purpose!

That also has a negative, since their last direct Bible story was Noah, as well.

So what else do I not like this last episode? One is the scatological jokes. That's right, their are quite a few poop jokes in this, and Veggie Tales is MUCH more sophisticated than that! There's even a subtle sex joke at the end (Shem does not know what "go forth and multiply" means.)

My other big gripe is that the songs are poorly written, there are a couple exceptions, mainly My Golden Egg, No More Rain, I've Got Plans, and maybe 1 or 2 more. Though a few are forgettable.

So, yes, I won't deny that this episode is a bit weak for Veggie Tales, especially for it to end this way, but this episode is NOT terrible. It's a decent watch, but maybe not frequently. But it's worth trying before bashing!

PS, I am making minor gripes on this show for constructive criticism. However, the backlash of this and VT In The House made the series officially canceled.

Maybe if we focused on the words of Philippians 2:14-15: "Do everything without complaining or arguing...so you will shine like stars in the universe", Veggie Tales would still continue. That's something to think about.
