Jeff Gordan and Dale Earnhardt are featured in this Celebrity Deathmatch, and rather eerily, this was released just one year before Dale suffered a horrifically fatal accident on the track, so watching this again is quite eerie. So one may think this episode of Celebrity Deathmatch is controversial, but really, what can one do, airbrush the episode, but really, that would compromise the artistic integrity of Celebrity Deathmatch, which was produced when MTV was on top. Anyway, I'm not sure if Dale Earnhardt's family have commented on this Celebrity Deathmatch episode, but understandably they may not wish to say anything about it.
