religion of ... witnesses... production
diama41 May 2017
i don't have seen worse propaganda about religion matters. Very very bad taste as a film scenario. i don't know what kind of people they try to convince (probably retarded ...) so happy people smiling all the time and love each other. Hippies movement does the same things but it was harmless. So simple to replace the "religion" with "smoke some weed bro"

UPLIFTING... FAITHFUL... TRUE
highandloftyone-3013424 August 2018
I have had the awesome pleasure to view a great many movies from various genres which has given me a grounded perspective. In my experience there are many Christian films that are often sub-par. This is primarily due to budgetary constraints; however, this film does not fit in that category. Eternal Salvation was for me a hidden gem. the acting was spot on and the production was top notch. It is a Christian film and as such it is sending a message. For those people who don't get the premise, there is only one thing that I can say, "we have not done our jobs as witnesses". This film is a witness and the production company that put this work together has hit the mark! God is real and His message is Love. He is a miracle worker and He is open for business. Brothers and sisters keep up the solid work!

WARNING: Movie Spiritually Fatal Flaws, Half-Truths, May Lead To Eternal Damnation, Not Salvation
8D27 July 2019
I liked many aspects of this movie. Very well set, directed, acted, shot, & edited. Much well chosen, valid Biblical scripture content.

Great that Johnathan told Scott about loving him, that he's his brother, and telling the story about the man who died unsaved by waiting too long. Scott cried.

Points out that the truly #1 priority in our lives, is to be saved by Jesus Christ (Yeshua Messiah) as soon as possible, because tomorrow is not promised for any of us.

However...

Why the 1 star rating? This movie's spiritually fatal flaws: Prosperity Gospel contents, for valid basic Biblical reasons other reviewers already explained.

Prosperity Gospel has major half-truths that tickle many people's ears with what they want to hear, leading to *eternal damnation*, rather than having all the full truths we all need to hear for our *eternal salvation*.

Thus, I think this movie is gravely mistitled.

Beware, any of us may end up going to hell because of these & other spiritually fatal flaws, tragically thinking our understandings & beliefs were right.

Please, pray for us all... that we may get onto, stay on, & get back onto (when we go off) the difficult path, to the narrow gate, that leads to real eternal salvation & to eternal life with God & others in heaven. In Jesus Christ's name, amen.

Enjoyable family movie

Really enjoyed this film looking at life when tragedy strikes, and how Christ pulls a man to salvation, when then are no more cards on the table. Successful businessmen appear at times to have no place for God, and this is a welcome film, made on a low budget.

Great movie

Warning: Spoilers
I highly recommend this movie. It is a great story with quality writing and acting. I was impressed by the realistic portrayal of the physical struggles and recovery of the main character. I loved the gradual conversion he underwent and how both he and his friend shared both their faith and shortcomings with others. The gospel message was laid out simply, but not watered down. I appreciated the reality of the character Scott's rejection of the gospel even though it affected him emotionally. Following Jesus is a personal decision and can't be taken lightly. It was nice to see the good guys win!

Mark 10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
