The Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits slipped past the Grant Pacers 24-23 in a non-league varsity boys football game broadcast by Access Sacramento's Hometown Sports Game of the Week. The game was set with the background of a previous meeting in 2008 between the teams for the California State championship, where Grant defeated the perennial powerhouse Long Beach Poly 25-20..
