Jonathan Morgan is best known for his comedic skills, but this self-described "flick" (rather than his oft-used designation "Comedy Adventure") suffers from a lack of humor. Other than one skillful, but brief, comic performance by an uncredited NonSex player (Alex Chance), it remains stillborn with the Romance genre that Wicked Pictures steadfastly continues to support despite other Adult labels having abandoned same.
Apparently plucked from out of her bottom drawer, Stormy Daniels' screenplay is pure corn, showing how friends and acquaintances are wont to tell one what to do. The disastrous consequences are usually the source of amusement for the viewer, but not here.
Instead we get nearly two and a half hours of jabber and XXX vignettes with structure and styling (flat lighting, cheap sets) of a sit-com minus the com. Wicked and competitor Vivid used to get the job done for such vehicles in 70 to 90 minutes without fail, and the doubling is due to the extreme elongation of sex scenes that has occurred in recent years.
The lead role is not taken by Stormy (who doesn't even show up in a cameo) but instead by mature beauty Brandi Love, the draw for yours truly to watch this feature. Her best friends are fellow housewife Janet Mason and their manicurist Sarah Vandella, big breasts the common link among the trio.
Many flashbacks provide the sex vignettes as advice is delivered and the results illustrated in scenes reminiscent of those "Love - American Style" TV skits over 40 years ago, but with XXX content.
On vacation Vandella and her hubby Erik Everhard spiced things up by ordering through the lascivious bellboy a girl for a threesome, cutie Keira Nicole delivered. Immediately recognizable Kyle Stone is uncredited as the aged bellboy.
When Brandi tells her friends that her lawyer husband (Tommy Gunn) has a new secretary named Justice, Janet advises her to make a surprise lunch visit to the office to see if they're carrying on behind her back. Instead Brandi fantasizes the duo having sex in the office, and brunette Katrina Jade is impressive in a role tailor-made for Alektra Blue back in the day when she was a Wicked contract star. (This latter-day Wicked release oddly does not feature any Wicked talent on the payroll, not even the ubiquitous Jessica Drake let alone Stormy.)
Janet's turn at bat recounts how she and hubby Ryan McLane bought a vibrator to heat things up, in a dull flashback for the redhead actress.
Worst ploy is having Tommy Pistol cast as Gunn's best buddy at work, and TP gives another of his way-overacted, hard to watch performances. They go to a business convention in Chicago and Pistol arranges for two bimbos to service them, cuing a lousy tattoo-filled sex scene between Tommy and Kleio Valentien. Gunn's date briefly brightens things up as an uncredited Alex Chance, sporting deep decolletage, proves to be a New Age goofball, boring Gunn with her notions about one's Spirit Animal that had me wanting to go reread Pullman's famous teenage fantasy classic "The Golden Compass". Unfortunately, she is relegated quickly to the cutting room floor, and it took me quite awhile to pinpoint her in the game of "Who played that?" occasioned by Wicked's habit of leaving NonSex performers without honor. At first I thought it was Brooke Wylde (breasts as clue) but finally got the ID right.
Pals coax Brandi into shooting a sex video of herself, which proves to be a satisfying soft-core masturbation scene of her amazing frontage as she takes a shower. This leads to a looming marital split as she is convinced Gunn is cheating on her, followed by computer dating and a 100% predictable happy ending with star Brandi finally delivering her required XXX action.
