Missed everything they were going for

As a modern, sexually bold art film, there are many better movies. Real people aren't actually scared of explicit nudity, so the more tricks used to hide it, the more the viewer is portrayed as a scared pervert and now that's what the movie has become about, not the actual story. So any notion of liberty has gone aswell.

The actual story is about sexual teaching and experimenting, but as it predominantly includes pain and disregarding the partner in some way, it creates internal sexual suppression and retaliation. When the partner retaliates, then they get relief, and the other gets suppressed again.

There is some "method to the madness" in experiencing pain to break through barriers but this is completely unrelated to this film...

Catch Your Dreams (1983) is the best sexually bold "is it porn? Is it art? Is it a documentary?" film. People are happy and wildly being themselves.
