Jô Shishido on His Life and Massacre Gun (2015)
*** (out of 4)
The first of two interviews that Arrow Video did with actor Jo Shishido. This one here talks a lot more about his personal life including his childhood where he talks about what he liked to play as a child as well as what movies he enjoyed watching. From here he gets into the production of MASSACRE GUN and shares a few stories on it as well as why he thought these type of gangster films should be shot in B&W. Also discussed is a fire that he suffered a few years ago that destroyed everything he owned. If you're a fan of the film or of Shishido then you'll certainly want to check this film out as there are plenty of nice stories shared. He really comes across as a very interesting guy so it was fascinating getting to hear these stories even if none of them were greatly detailed.
