Mafia War?
bkoganbing17 November 2016
This episode concerns a possible mob war that could start when the head of a Mafia crime family is gunned down and his driver Michael Badalucco found in the trunk of his car with a bruise and also having performed some bodily functions. Donnie Wahlberg and Marisa Ramirez catch the case which also includes the Mafia family shooting up a Chinese restaurant because they think the Chinese are the doers.

Another officer in Will Estes precinct has requested a certain shield number. America Olivo does not know that the number belonged to the late Joseph Reagan. That is some concern to the family at large.

The story that gave me the most poignancy involved Will Estes and Vanessa Ray collaring someone they think has been robbing and terrorizing the residents of a housing complex. Turns out who they collared was a childhood friend of Nicholas Turturro's and Turturro has been looking out for him for years. We all have people like that, but it could cause bad feelings all around.

Another good Blue Bloods story.

Warning: Spoilers
Still another wonderful episode proving that police are decent human beings as well as being the professionals they are.

When a female officer wishes to have her father, killed in action in another city, take his bade number, it turns out the number is Frank's dead son's shield number. It also seems that whoever has taken that number before and worn it has died in the line of duty. Frank has a compelling task regarding what to do and he asks for a family vote on the matter.

Eddie and Jamie encounter their Sergeant acting peculiarly as he attempted to go the additional mile for a friend whose life has gone awry and spun out of control.

A near mob war completes the trio of 3 excellent stories and in this case, the war was started not within the mob itself.
