  Kurt Weller : What's the last thing you do remember?

  Sgt. Charlie Napier : A dungeon. Flames.

  Jane Doe : [Charlie hesitates]  Charlie, where were you?

• [Kurt Weller learns the truth of where his father was the night Taylor Shaw went missing] 

  Kurt Weller : Why were your shoes muddy? You thought I was asleep. I wasn't. I saw you hosing off your shoes when you got him.

  Bill Weller : [Bill sighs]  I didn't... She's alive, Kurt.

  Kurt Weller : Then why did you lie about where you were?

  Bill Weller : Because I was trying to kill myself!
