- Persecuted outrageously by abusive family members and townspeople, a young boy must decide to buckle under the pressure or rise against a repressive society. Ian Erix stars in this four part inspirational musical film short.
- When Ian Erix is a young boy, he is targeted and bullied for seeming different. As he grows up, the abuse escalates as his evil stepfather, demented uncle and deranged aunt, amongst other townspeople, maliciously attack him. Despite the barrage of abuse, Ian remains willfully defiant and seemingly happy dancing to his own drum until his beloved grandfather and father are murdered in an attack meant for him. Devastated by their loss, Ian grapples with the fallout from being a horse of a different color and the consequences he must endure for being outspoken and unafraid to stand out. Once the dust settles, Erix must choose which inner voice to listen to, one that tells him to give it up or another that tells him he must rise and fight. Ultimately, Ian makes the conscious decision to battle whatever problems life may throw at him. In spite of continuing assaults, even in the aftermath of tragedy, Erix recruits a group of like minded people he calls the Mutt Army and storms across suburbia with his troops enlightening the repressed townspeople and declaring war on small mindedness, traditional thinking, intolerance and hatred.—Misfit Mindz Entertainment
