Better episode than the previous

Warning: Spoilers
"Palm of the Hand" is a better episode than the previous. This episode was really interesting because we get to see 29 year old Satoru in the body of him as a 11 year old. It's also interesting what happens to Kayo at that time and it also shows that we shouldn't judge others because they act weird or something, we don't know what they are going through. So this episode definitely makes me want to watch the next episode.

Recap: Erased episode 2 starts with Satoru transported back to the year 1988. He is shocked to go back 18 years in Revival. As told by Satoru, he usually goes back 1 to 5 minutes back in time during Revival. He enters his classroom but is unable to remember where he used to sit. Satoru attends his class and notices Kayo Hinazuki, the first victim. At the very first glance, he notices a bruise on her knees. He notices that kayo is isolated and hardly talking to any other students. The 29-year-old brain is puzzled by all that's happening around him and leaves the school midway for the day. He goes to his house where he meets his mom who is also younger.

The 29-year-old brain is puzzled by all that's happening around him and leaves the school midway for the day. He goes to his house where he meets his mom who is also younger. After looking at his mother alive, years starts falling down his cheeks. He also thanks his mother for the meal and everything else. In school, Satoru is friends with four other boys. Among them, Kenya notices that there is something different about Satoru's personality. Also, he is the one who advises reading the essay written by Kayo. After reading it, he clearly understands that she is being abused at her home. He recalls that before the incident took place, Kayo spent time alone in a park till it got So, in order to save his mother from being murdered in the future, he decides to put a stop to the chain reaction.

He tells his mother that he is going to invite five people for his birthday which would be on March 2. Satoru gives the first invitation to kayo in the park. She too says that it is easier to talk to Fujinuma recently. The episode ends with a determined Satoru trying his best to plan and stop the kidnapping of Kayo Hinazuki.

I also really like the quiet and eerie theme of this episode.

Didn't surprise me that much that the MC acts surprised and pleasant about what he sees, particularly his mother. The time travel elements has a lot of potential as it gives Satoru the chance to fix the past. His confrontation with Kayo is also interesting since there's a connection already.
