- Zac admits the truth to an angry VJ who calls Leah and then tells Hunter. Hunter is disapproving to Zac but tries to defend him to VJ. However, VJ refuses to forgive him and nearly moves out. John and Marilyn meet with their legal aid lawyer, Lachlan Piers, but it is clear he doesn't care if John's telling the truth or not, just in making sure the jury believe it. Roo calls Morag, who offers John her help. Phoebe is worried her engagement party is going to be a flop but is buoyed by a visit from an old musician friend, Donna Fields. Donna isn't entirely happy with Phoebe's new life and convinces her to sing at the party. Irene sees Roo getting a call from James: Roo claims it is the real estate agent. However, James Mayver later turns up at her flat and it's clear they're in a relationship.—skteosk
- Hunter can barely believe VJ when told Leah broke up with Zac for a single night cheating with 'nobody' Sam, but has to stand by as VJ grimly gives his latest father figure marching orders, which are refused to fight for the marriage. John puts off preparing for the lawyer as that makes his impending arson trial real, but Marilyn is even more surprised that attorney Lachlan Piers isn't suited up and considers innocence irrelevant, just an effective defense, so may it's time for expensive Morag. Irene and Marilyn ponder if the James calling Roo is just her estate agent as she claims or her serially unfaithful ex, while she's kissing with James Mayver.—KGF Vissers
