The writers Albert Bozesan and Andreas Thaler had spent an entire day trying to register for the car-sharing service DriveNow without success, as the company had recently raised the age limit to 21 without even informing all of their employees, let alone the general public. This spawned the duo to write a satire, mostly to let off some steam.
