- Almost all of the violence is E-rated violence by guns, swords, wine bottles and glasses (without liquid), fists, etc. Probably the only reason this is rated Teen is for two suicides throughout the game. The violence is not disturbing at all, due to the characters only being made up of red polygons.
- You can kill "people" with guns and through other methods. They are made from a glass-like material and simply shatter, so it's not particularly graphic.

- The only words in the game are "SUPERHOT" when you complete a level

- Some levels are taken place in a bar, where you kill and hit enemies with wine bottles and cups, but no alcohol is shown.

- Can be a little scary since the atmosphere of the game theme
- The fast violence and action, are intense.
- It might scare younger children that you kill "people."

Violence & Gore
- Later in the game, it's revealed that the "levels" are all a simulation, in which at some parts the player is asked to, "show your dedication" in which the player shoots themselves to exit the simulation. At the end of the game, the player is given a gun (outside the simulation) and has to shoot themselves to beat the game.

- A little bit of drug reference dialogue.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Some levels become quite psychological, even going so far as to ask the player to 'kill' themselves in order to proceed. While they always respawn, this can get quite intense, especially when the game begins to play with its own reality.
- The game is especially intense in virtual reality, specifically its more psychological aspects.
