Pearu : [to Andres, after Krõõt's funeral] I broke the fence from the rye that time, I wanted to see what would you do when you see pigs in my rye. But you didn't come, your hag came and told with such soft voice: "Dear neighbour, why are you breaking the fence? Our pigs will go to your rye." And then I felt ashamed in front of your hag at this broken fence. She came to herd pigs, with child in the lap: "Piggy, piggy, piggy! Sooey, sooey, sooey, sooey..." What is this human's life? Like a grass in front of a scythe. I thought what will become of two of us. Your hag always conciliated us because she was better than both of us.
