Contrived edition, with horrible leading man
lor_24 October 2017
Before giving up the narrative ghost and retreating into the world of all-sex porn, James Avalon concocted this disappointing Sweet Sinner release, blessed with three attractive leading ladies (though all the same brunette type) and promptly sank it like a stone by casting the over-the-hill James Deen. After a decade of watching the name-stealing guy on screen in hundreds of shows, I'm thoroughly tired of his mannerisms and banal approach to erotic cinema, enough so that his scenes are almost always a turn-off rather than a turn-on, whoever his femme partner might be.

Here he's the latter-day Deen (he had given some fine performances years back for Sweet Sinner when founder Nica Noelle was house director), lazy in his dialog readings, playing an irritable character irritably. Avalon also scripted and made little effort to give the scenes and their flow any credibility, merely positing a tight little cast mixing and matching sex partners. No actual incest is implied beyond step-brother and step- sister, but the sense of an inbred, closed off from the rest of the world, set of people is generated, as is often the case in low-budget, claustrophobic Adult Cinema.

Unlike his forerunner Nica, Avalon has the cast open up to the camera during their sex scenes, detracting from the naturalism that once was Sweet Sinner's raison d'etre. Sure, the footage still amounts to Romantic Couples entertainment, but is not all that different from the wall-to-wall sex competition.

Marley Brinx has the least to do here, as Deen's ex-girlfriend dating back to high school who steps out of character drastically (turning on a dime almost) to hump him in a three-way with Aidra Fox in the final vignette. With another actor involved instead of sweet baby James it could have been a crowd-pleaser.

Madi Meadows, whose beautiful & full natural tits are the movie's highlight, is the star, and the parents (steps depending upon which kid is involved) are NonSex Roles for the great Elexis Monroe and the Whuzdat? Robert Baldwin. Story involves a visit to Elexis's home, the "Immoral Proposal" mansion used as location by Sweet Sinner for the release by that title shot about 5 years before. Even an early sex scene set elsewhere appears to have been shot at the beautiful mansion, with its iconic spiral staircase (not featured here) and oval-paned front doors.

Avalon would have been well advised to include some inter-generational action or at least tease, but instead took the line of least resistance to fabricate well over two hours of ho-hum story porn.
