- Quotes
Charlotte: If you didn't want the blade found, you shouldn't have left it in a hole in the ground!
Lucifer Morningstar: A filled-in hole in the middle of nowhere, which no one would've possibly found if not for you.
Charlotte: Yes. Well... there's that.
Lucifer Morningstar: Besides, where else am I gonna hide it? Lux? You know how many people traipse through there each week?
Charlotte: Well, I don't know. Your bedroom, then.
Lucifer Morningstar: Worse.

If we witnessed someone being chased through a public park, to be cornered in an alleyway and physically assaulted, just what would we do about it?
Would we intervene and try and tackle the culprit, call out to raise the alarm, phone the old bill, everyone would expect to receive assistance if it happened to them, but what would they be prepared to do for someone else?
I honestly don't know what I would do precisely, I am not a brave bloke by any means, and I sincerely hope that i would do one of the latter things at the very least.
But a murder is committed here in this episode in broad daylight, the victim is not only brutally assaulted but actually murdered, and her assailant jogs off carrying the bloody murder weapon, the preceding chase went through the park and beyond, with passers by barged out of the way without any of them seemingly unduly alarmed.
Doctor Linda Martin had reached the end of her tether with Lucifer Morningstar's therapy sessions, he being a straightforward sort of bloke had been, telling her the quite literal truth and nothing but, and well she being only a mortal therapist, mistook it all for similes and metaphors.
The good doctor had been perpetually demanding that he tell her the unvarnished truth, but in reality she just couldn't handle anything like it, Lucifer still doesn't seem to be able to handle human subtleties, and is totally at a loss at what he had done wrong.
Remarkably doctor Linda actually admitted Lucifer into another session, perhaps it was because Maze had finally convinced her, that she was her genuine friend, but it was rather foolish for Lucifer to imagine that, she would simply wish to concentrate on his woes.
When Lucifer buried his brother Uriel he thought, that he had chosen the perfect spot, and that it was unlikely to be unearthed, what to me was unfathomable is why he chose to bury Azrael's blade with the body.
Lucifer can not exactly advertise his quest, so he has to ask a favour, of a police colleague with specialist knowledge, and Ella seems to drive a hard bargain.
But am I mistaken in my assumption, that detective Decker is actually jealous, of Ella and Lucifer spending so much time together?
When Lucifer decided to cast his mother to her earthly perdition, did he imagine that their paths would cross, in the lawyers office of one Charlotte Richards?
One murder has quite literally led to another across Los Angeles and effectively, two separate investigations are being carried out that directly related to it, with forensic boffin Ella Lopez having to work on both of them, one unofficially aiding Lucifer, and the other as her day job with the old bill.
With Lucifer having to also cover both bases trying to locate, the Angel of Death's weapon to prevent it being used, and working as a partner to Detective Decker, to investigate the murders and bring the culprit to justice.
