When first uploaded into Infinity, Nanette's hair is clearly an inch or two above her shoulder. In scenes occurring moments later, her hair is comfortably on her shoulders.
DNA does not carry memories. At best, it would have created a physically identical twin of the person, but they would have no knowledge of the outside world.
At one point, Walton asks if the others had ever seen a human body compress in the vacuum of space. That needs to be 'decompress', if anything, since it's a vacuum, so no pressure there.
We are told that Tommy dies in the game after being thrown out of the airlock. After the crew's DNA is retrieved from Daly's fridge they are no longer able to be recreated and so attempt to commit suicide by flying into the wormhole. But this long drawn out journey is unnecessary; all they need do is leave the ship as Tommy did to achieve the same goal (and this is just one of many possible ways of ending it all). However, as Daly says earlier it is actually impossible to die in this universe unless he wills it, even if subjected to something that would normally kill someone outright (like Nanette's inability to breathe when she disobeys).
The wormhole is said to be 'a whole parsec away' from the ship and that Daly would need to be distracted long enough for the crew to get there, implying at most an hour or so. A parsec is about 3.26 light years, so even at the speed of light it would take a few years to reach it, so the ship must have some kind of advanced, faster than light propulsion system. They decide that going through the asteroid field will be a quicker route to the wormhole. But the ship is shown to be going at 'normal' (sub-light) space craft speeds while travelling through the field, presumably because of the need to slow down to avoid hitting the asteroids while the ship is manually steered around them. So in fact would have been significantly faster to travel in the empty space around the field using their advanced propulsion system. Travelling through the asteroids would only be a short cut if they travelled at their original, faster than light speed.
In a vast, procedurally-generated game, the odds of spawning in the game near another player are astronomical.
Once the DNA is digitised, stealing the origin DNA source is utterly pointless.
It is typical for organisations to have a code freeze around public holidays as there maybe a risk resulting from increased demand for the new software version at a time when there is likely to be a lack of support staff available for supporting the deployment in production. The decision to shift the deployment date to Christmas Eve was also not seemingly impact assessed and flippantly made which leads us to assume a lack of governance, clear roles and responsibilities and risk management in this organisation.
