I saw this with my family on Irish TV recently. It's a spin off of an existing show,that was on TV last year and and my little brother enjoyed it hugely. It follows four friends who have been on various ghost hunting missions and the film opens in a castle, with a reporter asking them about how it all started. We then flashback to some of their previous missions which is for the most part quite fun, although a bit long in places. We then are told that some of the team are missing and they have to find them in the haunted castle. The film version of this is also Good fun, lots of little jumps for young audiences and nice to see Irish characters and accents on screen. There are plenty of laughs (quite a few fart jokes!) as well. Might be a bit long overall but enjoyable halloween fun and definitely appealed to my 9 year old brother and his friends who were watching it with me.

It can be hard to find a kid's film that's as good at keeping me entertained as it is for keeping my son quiet, but Spooky Stakeout manages it! This film is genuinely laugh out loud funny, and it had enough scares to keep the two of us on our toes. Each character was engaging and interesting and had their own hilarious motivation for partaking in film's ghost hunt. If you're looking for an interesting, spooky and truly funny film to keep you and your child occupied on a rainy day, make it this one!!

We have two big fans of the Spooky Stakeout television series in our house so when I saw there was a film spin off, I knew we had to watch it! Like the series, the Spooky Stakeout film is a whole lot of spooky, hilarious fun. With plenty of age appropriate scares, our little ones were keep captivated - and laughing their heads off - for the entire duration of the film - there was even a few laughs from us grumpy adults too! Overall a great, wholesome film, perfect for keeping the whole family entertained on movie night.

This was my family's last choice for our weekly movie night and we could not have chosen a better film. The jokes - even the fart based ones - kept our kids giggling throughout the whole film (and maybe even cajoled a belly laugh or two from my husband and I). I couldn't recommend this film enough!
