"It Follows 2 Slowly" is an American live action short film from 2016 thatg runs for 7 minutes only and was written and directed by Bridget Chun. It seems as if this was hery very first career effort overall and for that it was slightly tolerable, but by general standards it simply wasn't enough. Anyway, she followed up her work on this one with being in charge of a series afterwards. By the way, she also acts in here playing one of the main characters. They are all main basically, maybe her a bit more than everybody else in fact. I cannot say anything else about the cast really. Dax Spanogle (memorable name just like his character's too, probably not a coincidence this film is a lot about sex and Hefner is his name) looked familiar to me, but I cannot really say where I saw him. Maybe I am just mistaking him for somebody else. As for the story, I will say a bit about it, but it is really so strange that in order to grasp ot or at least have a chance to grasp it, you must probably watch the film yourself. We have a man and woman having sex in a car, then he ties her up on a chair and tells her that he gave "it" to her. Then he lets her go. "It" is in this case an STD and the running gag is that all STD in the sense of "they follow you" are shown as humans here that can only be seen by those who have said STD. And the humans basically move likes walkers from The Walking Dead. That is all basically. I would say that the final scene with another "it" added was good enough for me to say this film is not a failure altogether the way it seemed to be early on, but it gets a bit better the longer it goes. Still there are question marks behind the general idea, but also behind minor thingey like when the guy leaves the group why does he take his short of. He's not Taylor Lautner. Also the scene with the girl walking rund the car away from her "walker" was not half as funny as they wanted us to believe it was. What is with the idea anyway that "it" will dry-hump them to death once it catches them. This is not what a STD does. It basically caught them already. So yeah, some stuff just doesn't make sense here. All in all, a thumbs-down. If it is worth seeing, then only for how bizarre it is, but best is you skip. Not recommended.
