The lead actor, Christopher Alan Evans, accidentally hanged himself with the rope used in the film during the first take of the entire production. The entire 3-person crew rushed over to help him immediately. He was unconscious for nearly 10 seconds but once he regained his stamina and composure, he insisted on getting back to work.
At the time of filming in 2016, the home used to for the production had not been lived in since 1973 and the contents, including beds, televisions and kitchenware had remained untouched. The previous inhabitant, colloquially known as "big momma", died there on April 9th, 1973 after a 12-year stint of never leaving the home, not even to step on to the front porch.
This film marks the acting debut for actor Christopher Alan Evans.
This film marks the cinematography debut for Taylor Bracewell.
More than halfway through production, the power to the location went out permanently. Due to the low budget, the crew had to rig lighting from cell phone flashlights and small LED portables in order to finish the film.
