'Professor Marston and the Wonder Women' Director on the Superhero's Kinky Origin Story (Exclusive)
If you saw Wonder Woman this summer -- and the record-setting $800 million worldwide box office indicates a lot of people saw Wonder Woman this summer -- then you know the story of how Diana, Princess of Themyscira, became the superhero Wonder Woman, protector of mankind. How Wonder Woman ended up on the pages of comic books in the first place is a story unto itself however, told in Professor Marston and the Wonder Women: In 1941, Dr. William Moulton Marston (played by Luke Evans), his wife, Elizabeth (Rebecca Hall), and their lover, Olive Byrne (Bella Heathcote), created the character to save the world...through psychology. Director Angela Robinson (D.E.B.S.) could never have predicted, though, that her Wonder Woman indie would arrive in theaters mere months after one of the biggest movies of the year.
"I'm getting a lot of credit for having the foresight to know that in the summer of 2017, the 75-years-in-the-making, long-gestating Wonder Woman movie would...

Both Brandy and Monica shared birthday messages to the late Whitney Houston on Wednesday, but the end result was not so celebratory.
“Happy Heavenly Birthday Nippy … You still inspire many & touch hearts daily… You will forever be the greatest …. You will forever be missed,” Monica captioned a black and white photo of Houston, who died at the age of 48.
Then hours later, Brandy shared her own post of a photo collage of herself and the late icon together, writing: “You live on in me… I can feel your Spirit inside of me and all around me. My angel, my friend,...

Like Kelly, I am not a happy camper after watching Chicago Fire Season 5 Episode 18.
Not only is Anna inexplicably cutting bait, but the Lee Henry plot was unbearable. Thank god for Gabby and Sylvie (isn't that always the case?), the best ladies to learn the job from.
Oh, and Matt did some stuff that wasn't horrible or boring or confusing. Yay for Matt, I guess.
I'm trying to come up with the words to describe how annoyed I was by Lee Henry's storyline, but I'm experiencing mini rage strokes, so bear with me.
The premise was fine, I suppose, but my god was it poorly executed. I get it, the Colin Kaepernick kneeling thing is a story again, because maybe nobody in the NFL will hire him because of it -- or maybe because he's not a reliably strong player? I don't know, I watch TV, not sports.
But please.
