Caillou fancies himself as one I think but he's really not much of a film critic, he only ever gives a superfluous appraisal and never goes into any real depth on what the movie made him think of or feel too much, but he's pleasant and earnest enough in his reviews and I think he's genuinely into movies because he can't be in it for the subscribers as he doesn't really have the talent or personality to really rake in the big numbers and he definitely doesn't have the wit. He possibly tries to emulate his movie critic idol the horrifically overrated Chris Stuckmann a bit too much, whatever Chris reviews Caillou will review soon after, I think part of Caillou becoming more of his own adorable little man of a film critic and developing his review persona a bit more would be to step out from Stuckmann's shadow and actually try and review his own movies that he likes and give some thoughts on and that mean something to him personally, I actually find his reviews more entertaining than Stuckmann's. I think it says a lot that Caillou's favourite movie would be from 2018, I can't stand it when people only have eyes for newer movies and don't seem to be able to look back, I mean ideally if you ask me a real movie aficionado should be capable of loving the motion pictures of all decades, or at least one or two from each. Caillou seems like a really nice young guy and he is pleasant to listen to he just needs to work on the act a little, I don't really care what he says anyway I just like to watch him talk, he's such a cute dork, lol ya just wanna pick him up and stick him in your pocket! Keep it up man, you're a good critic in the making. 💖
