Great cast but weak script this time

Warning: Spoilers
James Avalon tapped the original stars of the first "Mother Exchange" drama for volume 5 in the series, but unfortunately lightning did not strike twice. The usually reliable Melissa Monet in charge of scripting has concocted an unconvincing story line and conflicts, resulting in quality sex scenes but improbable twists and turns of narrative.

One good idea was casting Logan Pierce as the bad guy -a fun departure from his usual straight-arrow or even naive roles. He's Julia Ann's nasty, selfish son, who seduces her rival/enemy Kendra Lust after first humping his beautiful girlfriend Skye West, a promising newcomer to Adult. I was a bit surprised that Sweet Sinner gives her billing above Julia Ann on both packaging and screen credits, hardly merited in that she inhabits a peripheral role.

Kendra is angry with Julia Ann for stealing away her wealthy boyfriend Marcus London (like the stars, also an actor from the first "Mother Exchange") and marrying the bloke. She somehow inveigles London to hump her again for old time's sake, one of the film's many unconvincing plot turns.

Finale has a mechanical tit for tat of Julia Ann having sex with Kendra's son Tyler Nixon, also a ne'er-do-well though not as extreme a case as Logan's character. Monet's screenplay is too pat in its structure while skimpy on proper transitions.

All of this takes place in Sweet Sinner's beloved "Immoral Proposal" mansion, so named by me after the Nica Noelle feature for the label shot there years back. Avalon does some cheating here, using the building's iconic foyer with its stunning spiral staircase and distinctive oval-paned doors for a dramatic backdrop, but also dresses up other sections of the house to represent another house, one being Julia Ann's and the other Kendra's. The sparks between the two warring superstars are not ignited to my liking - I believe a drawn-out cat fight could have put the picture over the top, in a good way.
