Isabella Guinnalli (Mia) is Lori Loughlin's daughter with husband Mossimo Guinnalli's daughter; this is the 17-year-old's acting debut.

Lori Loughlin and Willie Aames appeared together in two previous projects way back in their youth. The first was on the daytime soap opera The Edge of Night (1956) in Lori's first major acting role where she played Jody Travis from 1980-1983. Willie joined the soap for a role several months in 1983. They were involved in the same story line together. Later that year, in July 1983, they both starred as the leads in a pilot called The Tom Swift and Linda Craig Mystery Hour (1983) where Lori played an amateur detective. The pilot was based on the Tom Swift and Linda Craig series. The pilot aired to low ratings and the project was abandoned.
