This was the first set of episodes I saw from "The ZhuZhus" in around 2 years. Overall, it was not a good introduction for me. These episodes both have a bunch of issues, despite these being some of the "best" in the series (that I'm able to watch without paying).

The first episode, "Fur-vivor" is the weakest of the pair. It is overall a very boring "what can we do during a rainy day?" episode that does nothing to change the plot's formula in a unique way to keep me intrigued. The challenges for the Iron Hamster contest are presented in the episode in a very boring way. Even with that, none of the jokes land and that random cat just annoyed me throughout the whole episode. I do like Frankie's outfit

Later in the episode when the power goes out, it gets slightly worse (as if that's possible). The episode stops with the challenge aspect and starts to focus on the cat, which Frankie apparently takes in, but isn't seen in this episode's sister episode or any others that I've seen (currently 9 episodes). It gets really freaking boring and makes me wonder why am I even still here. Also, everyone wins the Iron Hamster contest. Who could have seen that coming?

3/10, this episode blew. Might have been better with a rewrite.

The next episode, "Zhuper Girl" is better than the previous one. I find this episode a little more watchable and enjoyable due to the superhero fights and the second half. It is very mediocre and makes "DC Super Hero Girls" look like an anime, yet it's fun to watch this episode just for the irony.

Expectedly, the episode starts off badly. Frankie and Zhus pretend to be superheroes because Super Sarah was just too boring for everyone I suppose. It is really bland just watching Frankie save stuffed animals, but cute in a way of just a child playing superheroes (or doing it for real if "The Trashing of Zhuper Girl" counts). However, when Dr. Thermostat comes is when this episode gets a little more tolerable.

In the second half, Mr. Squiggles plays with Frankie for real and pulls a whole "I won't stop until you REVEAL YOURSELF!!!" thing. This part doesn't really 'hook' me in persay, but it's a little bit of a rush in terms of plot switch, considering he just comes out of nowhere. The rest of this part is predictable and ironically fun. Frankie pulls a fast one (yet clever plan) on DT and gets hit with snowballs, ending the scene on a somewhat rushed note.

A low 4/10, this could have been SO much better if it just had less boring moments. Scores average to a 3.5/10.
