Today, The Rolling Stones‘ debut album turned 60. Hats off to Mick Jagger and company for staying together this long against all odds! Here’s a look at their debut album’s triumphs and tragedies.
13. ‘I Just Want to Make Love to You’
The lively rhythm here is ruined by some questionable lyrics. In this song, Jagger compares himself to an enslaved person. It’s tasteless, but what would you expect from the same band that would later give us such racist atrocities as “Brown Sugar” and “Some Girls?” At least this song didn’t hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 like “Brown Sugar” did.
12. ‘You Can Make It If You Try’
Placed near the end of the album, “You Can Make It If You Try” is a self-empowerment song that feels tedious and endless. The Rolling Stones made it. They tried. This song didn’t help them get there.

Screen can reveal the first trailer for animated feature Fox And Hare Save The Forest, ahead of its world premiere at the Berlinale.
The 3D animation follows a group of animal friends who embark on an adventure when a lake threatens to submerge their forest home, perhaps the work of a megalomaniac beaver. The trailer reveals a stop motion animated feel, which was achieved by making the characters out of clay and 3D-scanning them.

“The Masked Singer” has reached the halfway point in the competition with episode 6 airing on April 13. The title tells it all: “The Double Mask Off – Round 2 Finals.” Two of the remaining three contenders in Group B — Armadillo, Miss Teddy and Ringmaster — will be eliminated by the end of the episode. The last contestant standing will move on in the competition to face Firefly from Group A.
We’ve already seen two of the Group B celebrities unmasked: Lemur was supermodel Christie Brinkley while Hydra turned out to be magicians Penn & Teller. They were ousted at the end of the April 6 episode. That installment was short on clues but we’ve gone back and rewatched it and the previous shows and have all “The Masked Singer” spoilers, including the answer to the question, “Who is Armadillo”?

The firm is presenting Alessandro Rak’s animated work The Walking Liberty, Gabriele Salvatores’ film made in lockdown Viaggio in Italia and the documentary Fellini of the Spirits. Four new titles, among various others, will be enhancing the Rai Com offering at the virtual 2020 edition of the Cannes Film Festival’s Marché du Film. The documentary Fellini of the Spirits is doubtless the best-known work among them, marking 100 years since the birth of the cinema master. Sales of Anselma Dell'Olio’s film - produced by Mad Entertainment alongside Rai Cinema and in co-production with Walking the Dog, Arte and Rai Com - are co-managed by Nexo Digital. Further details on Fellini’s spiritual and supernatural world as explored in the documentary can be found in our article on Nexo’s Film Market line-up (here). Another especially interesting title in Rai Com’s line-up - a firm led by Cristina Cavaliere - is the new.
The documentary produced for the centenary of Federico Fellini’s birth explores the master's spiritual and supernatural world, as recounted by Terry Gilliam and William Friedkin, to name a few. The Cannes Film Festival’s Online Marché du Film (22-26 June) will see Italian firms Nexo Digital and Rai Com present to international buyers the long awaited world premiere of Fellini degli Spiriti, Anselma Dell'Olio’s documentary marking the centenary of the great Master’s birth. Produced by Mad Entertainment in league with Rai Cinema and in co-production with Walking the Dog, Arte and Rai Com, the documentary leans on archive material from Rai Teche and the Istituto Luce, images from his films and exclusive interviews so as to explore, for the very first time, the unseen spiritual and supernatural world which fascinated Federico Fellini. Deeply in love with life, Fellini spent his existence continually pursuing its meaning. This documentary is an in-depth investigation.

Barcelona — Sales agent Indie Sales has just dropped a new trailer for “Another Day of Life,” added last Thursday to this year’s Cannes’ Official Selection where it plays out of competition.
Directed by Polish animator Damian Nenow and Spain’s Raúl de la Fuente, a documentary filmmaker, and a narration of the harrowing experiences in the 1975 Angola Civil War which drove Polish war correspondent Ryszard Kapuściński to write the book which forged his reputation, “Another Day of Life” can be portrayed many ways. Excerpts on YouTube capture the power of individual scenes, and their haunting mix of 1975 animated chronicle and live action contemporary interview 40 years later featuring the characters in scenes: an effect which gives a sense of heightened reality to the 1975 chronicle.
For many, the 1975 war for life-changing: “I lost peace for the rest of my life,” says Kapuściński’s fellow reporter Artur in the film,. The same can be said for Kapuściński.
