Sex & Nudity

  • There are two lesbian characters in the game and you can listen to audiologs about their relationship. Nothing sexual is shown or heard through however.

Violence & Gore

  • Players can shoot people and aliens in first person. Blood will not flow much.
  • You see humans getting attacked semi-violently by aliens, nothing graphic is shown.
  • There is not much gore during the length of the game apart from the fact that the aliens will bleed when shot but it is only black blood so not human like.
  • Violence does happen lots during the entirety of the game but it is mostly towards aliens.
  • You can shoot aliens and there is very little blood also you can not shoot people.
  • Mind controlled humans will explode their heads when they get close to the player. This is really the only example of gore in the game.
  • The violence is more suspenseful than gory.

Profanity

  • Non frequent profanity throughout with an occasional s**t but nothing much more
  • Several cases where "Christ" is exclaimed.
  • The word "sh*t" is heard in the dialogue.
  • No uses of the F Word

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Cigarettes can be picked up
  • During the course of the game, players' character can consume alcohol, resulting in a drunkenness status (e.g., screen-blurring effect, stumbling).
  • Alcohol can be drunk and the player gets a drunkenness effect

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Certain parts of this game could be considered frighting but it's ok for mature audiences.
  • The game has a constant feel of dread and paranoia due to the idea that any item in the game could possibly be an enemy.
  • Mimics suck the life out of whoever they kill, leaving a disturbing husk.
