- When they find secret rooms and open the safe it might be suspenseful to some children.
- In one episode, Tess and Max are lost in the underground tunnels beneath the city. The rope, which Max had brought so they could find their way back, was cut. Tess then says "We're not alone," which is very intense and can be frightening towards a younger audience.
