Sister Wives Season 18 is expected to drop in September 2023. Here are five shows about polygamy that Sister Wives fans may enjoy while waiting for the new season.
The Brown family | TLC/discovery+ ‘Escaping Polygamy’
Unlike Sister Wives, Escaping Polygamy gives fans an honest look at what it’s like to leave polygamy and their families behind without any support from the outside world. This gritty Lifetime series aims to show the harsh realities of leaving a religious cult following three sisters, Andrea, Jessica, and Shanell.
The sisters, all born to the same father, John Daniel Kingston, escaped the family’s polygamist cult known as The Kingston clan, or ‘The Order.’ It is known to be one of the most secretive and dangerous sects of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Flds).
After getting free, the girls help their loved ones and strangers to get free from the grips of polygamy.

So it makes sense that Enoch and his family were thrown for a loop now that the four-episode series was bought by TLC and just premiered on the network this week — especially because polygamy is illegal and now considered a felony in the state of Utah. According to administrator a polygamy Facebook group — who is a friend of the Foster family — the participants of the series who are also residents of the Rockland community (of which Enoch is considered the leader of) did not have a choice whether their show got picked up by a network in the United States and they did...

The Sister Wives family lives in the 'burbs of Las Vegas, but the stars of Three Wives, One Husband have literally carved out a secluded existence for themselves. The fundamentalist Mormon families on TLC's new docu-series live in a Utah cliff that's been blasted with dynamite to make the caves they call home. Here's what we know about Enoch Foster and his family, the largest clan featured on the show, which just debuted on March 11. Enoch and his family live at "the Rock" In this case, "the Rock" isn't Alcatraz or even Dwayne Johnson — it's Rockland Ranch, a community built into a 500-foot sandstone cliff near Canyonlands National Park, not far from Moab, Ut. Enoch's father, Robert Dean Foster, founded the community in the late 1970s to create a safe haven for families practicing plural marriage, according to The Atlantic.
