Nice variation on Oiler cliches
lor_4 February 2021
James Avalon manages to surmount the obvious limitations of the Oiler genre by playing a bit with several of the overused massage porn gimmicks.

Aidra Fox stars as a massage therapist whose business is dropping -noted by the opening scene of a former client Marley Brinx showing up for a rubdown, informing Aidra that she's been away, preferring to get serviced by a masseur instead, and telling Aidra that "I just wish that you had something more to give". This opening scene shows off the beauty of Brinx's body, but there's no sex, as Fox gives her a traditional by-the-book massage.

Aidra discusses the dwindling cusotmers issue with her employee, masseur Seth Gamble, who suggests she go to see James Deen, who has modern techniques that have proved to be successful.

Aidra goes as a customer and is treated to Deen's New Age approach, sensual but leaving her hanging as there's no sex involved. She's plenty horny and unsatisfied as a result. Avalon has provided the viewer with quality softcore nudity but no actual sex for a reel or two, unheard of in modern porn, but effectively creating the tension of a real story-telling movie format.

Not to worry, as Fox elects to satisfy her next client, Logan Pierce, with a happy ending at the end of his massage, and he is thrilled with the hardcore sex ending with a hand-job.

Next we see a highly romantic scene of Deen making love to his Black girlfriend Kira Noir in a bathtub covered with rose petals -an extraneous sex scene, but of high quality. Avalon has very carefully covered his tracks as to the location used for shooting, but this is the bathroom of the "Immoral Proposal" mansion.

Seth does an outcall massage at Brinx's hotel room and like his boss Aidra he delivers sex with the rubdown. And the movie climaxes with Aidra also climaxing as she returns to guru Deen for real sex, not massage.

Writer-director Avalon's toying with audience expectations lifts this Sweet Sinner release out of the series' rut.
