  Tess Hunter : How is she supposed to talk if you tape her mouth closed, genius?

  Anika Hunter : [to Sophie]  I also heard about a guy who accidentally glued his mouth shut with Superglue. Now he has to eat through a tube in his nose.

• Max Hunter : Your coat smells like cheese and your feet are way too big for your body. Now start talking or I'll bring the duct tape, and this time some might get stuck in your hair!

  Sophie : No! Not my hair!

  Sal Hunter : [to Max]  Stop it! We're not monsters.

  Anika Hunter : You tell him.

  Sal Hunter : No, please tell him.

  Anika Hunter : No, you tell him.

  Sal Hunter : Come on.

  Anika Hunter : I don't want to tell him.

• [Max and Tess approach the room where their captive is being held with quantities of rope and duct tape] 

  Sal Hunter : Guys, we don't think this is such a good idea. Detaining a person against their will is awfully close to kidnapping.

  Max Hunter : Okay, she broke into our house. We have a right to defend ourselves.

  Anika Hunter : Yeah, but we're not exactly defending ourselves anymore.

  Max Hunter : Look, we're not kidnapping anybody, okay? Look at it as a, uh, citizen's arrest.

  Anika Hunter : A citizen's arrest? What's that?

  Sal Hunter : A citizen's arrest is when anybody at all arrests somebody for breaking the law. Can't believe you didn't know that. Do you watch any like zero television?

• Sal Hunter : Why haven't we called the police? Keeping a prisoner is illegal.

  Anika Hunter : I don't want to go to prison. School is bad enough.
