Decent episode with avoidable conflict

Warning: Spoilers
"Paraders of the Lost Float" wasn't too bad of an episode, but couldn't 95% of Bob's problems have been avoided if he had JUST KEPT HIS MOUTH SHUT ABOUT THE PRIZE MONEY?! I mean, Jimmy Pesto couldn't have cared less about the parade until Bob mentioned the prizes for the floats. It probably would've made the episode half as long and just as interesting, if that were the case - Bob's float following the parade route normally, Gene (as "Beefquatch" - nice to see the mask make a cameo) wasting burger samples, the family getting last place and winning the $500, and then probably dancing to that catchy disco song at the end. I mean, in an alternate universe where Bob didn't tell Jimmy about the prize money, there would've been some other setback in place of the conflict with the Pesto float - probably Teddy getting cabin fever inside the float and driving it off course or crashing it into a storefront. Who knows?

DOESN'T EVEN MATTER AT THIS POINT

Warning: Spoilers
Screw this episode to the absolute maximum! I honestly don't even care at this point if it ended up ultimately having a good ending, the rest of the episode, 95% of such, before the ending is total garbage, and it was so bad it didn't even matter if it had a good ending when that only makes up for a tiny fraction of the episode overall.

So to start off with, the Belcher family compete in the float contest where there initially was only four competing and five prizes, the fifth prize being $500. Of course, Jimmy Pesto finds out about it and decides to compete as well, and throughout the rest of the episode we see nonsensical bickering between the Pestos and the Belchers to the point of which I just wanted to rip my hair out in so much stress. THIS was the tipping point to me becoming insane, it really was that bad!

Even though this episode "technically" had a good ending, it still makes my blood boil to see the Belchers aim for 5th place and that being exactly what they got, even though in reality what happens at the end really should have had them get 3rd, maybe 2nd place. Besides, the other four floats that ranked higher definitely weren't as good either.

So overall, this is by far one of the worst ever episodes of Bob's Burgers. It really brings out the worst in many things, such as the characters themselves (Bob Belcher, Jimmy Pesto, etc.) and character arcs (such as the relationship between Tina and Jimmy Jr). The ending of this episode certainly did NOT make up for just about everything else wrong with this episode, and so for me it will go down as an episode of a TV show that genuinely had me feeling insane.
