The show was initially developed with a budget of 10,000 dollars and most of the cast and crew were volunteers.
The producers, Alexander Soto (credited as Andrés Soto) and Jatniel Azofeifa built the set with the help of volunteers in an empty warehouse of a church. It took them 360 days to build it using paper mache, paint and donated tools and materials. The set was at that time the largest kid's TV show set in Central America.
