The title "Luis Fonsi Feat. Daddy Yankee: Despacito" summarizes fairly well what this one is about, who the two artists are and what the title of the song is. Fonsi I don't think I have heard of, but I have come across Daddy Yankee on other occasions already. Their collaboration here lasts for slightly over 4 minutes and is basically about a hot woman and the duo describes not too explicitly how attracted they are to her and what they want to do with her. I guess I don't need to go into detail any further. It is entirely in Spanish, which may be a reason many did not understand the lyrics and how shallow and superficial the texts really are. I did because I watched it with subs. It may sound passionate and special, but it really isn't. It's also not a catchy song by any means and it is shocking if this was really the biggest summer hit this year (2017). You cannot even blame the "artists" because if people are actually stupid enough to buy generic uncreative garbage en masse, then of course they keep making stuff like this. Really a bad state the music industry is in these days, at least the mainstream industry. Then again this is not surprising at all as the mainstream media are just as bad and despicable. But this would take us too far now. Finally, a few words on how women are depicted in here. I am really not a fan of feminism and among the last who screams "mysoginistic", but yes, here it certainly does apply. Huge thumbs-down for both the song and the music video. Highly not recommended and I'm glad it was this short.
