Stefano Fregni was originally cast in the role of Bolek, but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts. This marks the first time he does not appear in a film written and produced by Thomas Kadman.
When Thomas Kadman posted the casting breakdown for the role of Janet, he was not expecting to receive a huge response, given the nature of the character and modest size of production. To his surprise, he received almost 2000 applications. Gina Laline ended up landing the role.
Cinematographer Junior Monney passed away before post production on the film was completed and he never got to see the finished film. He attended an early screening that Thomas Kadman had organized for selected members of the crew, The version of film Junior watched was almost 20 minutes longer than the final cut. The film is dedicated to his memory.
