- TriviaStarting with this season, Jane's extensive "tattoos" are no longer applied by makeup, which was previously a very time-consuming process. This season, they are part of a custom body stocking, with edges removed in post-production.
- GoofsThe PC inside the safe is an early 2000s model (complete with separate graphics card, separate sound card, floppy disk drive and two CD-ROM drives). Even if that PC was still working, it is highly unlikely the CIA would use it to store any kind of sensitive information.
- Quotes
Jane Doe: So this Keele person wants me dead?
Jake Keaton: This Keele person is dead. He knew the CIA was closing in on him, but before he took his own life, our intel confirmed that he put a $10 million bounty on yours.
Kurt Weller: So it's over, then?
Jake Keaton: No. The bounty's in escrow with a dark web fixer. It's still active, and we can't shut it down. The best assassins in the world are about to come at you. They're not gonna stop until someone collects, and they're not gonna care who's standing between you and them when they do.

The bad thing is that the new bad guy is Roman. As I mentioned in my review of the last season finale, I didn't like it that they made Roman the bad guy after spending so much time watching him reconnect with Jane. I wanted to see them fight Sandstorm together. Once he chose Jane over Shepherd I thought they were going to strengthen the bond between the two siblings and have them fight back for everything that happened to them since they were young. So, while I'm happy to see more of Luke Mitchell, I'm not happy to see him back as the villain!
The funny thing is that we're actually going back to the beginning. It's a sort of a start over. We have the team back together working on the tattoos in order to catch the bad guy who was previously Shepherd/Sandstorm and now is Roman/whatever mission he is headed. Except now every member of the team is hiding something. So while it was a good episode with decent explanations and lots of action I just don't know if I have the energy to watch the same thing happening again. I will probably continue to watch but I hope they have some fresh and exciting ideas for what's coming next, because doing the exact same thing over again is a bit tiring.
