This was a beautifully presented ceremony, done with the class and quality you would expect. Sadly it all felt a little hollow, as have the games, an Olympics without the fans just seems as pointless as a diet coke alongside a large fish and chips.
I'm not sure what format you're all watching this on, sadly I have to suffer it from The BBC, their coverage is atrocious.
Credit to those involved for getting this ceremony up and running, and it was an impressive spectacle. 6/10.
