The show opens with a recap of last week's angle where the Samoans turned on Ernie Ladd and hired Skandor Akbar as their manager, followed by the Samoans winning the tag team titles. Then we get the only squash match of the week, with the Samoans making short work of Rick Ferrara and Bill Ash. Then Paul Orndorff faces Brian Blair in a very good match. Next, Louisiana Champion the Junkyard Dog defends his title against former champion Bob Roop. Then we have a tag team match with Ted DiBiase and Mr Olympia vs Ed Wiskowski and Bob Orton. The final minutes of the show features a jobber against jobber match, Ron Cheatam vs Frank Monte. To explain why they would have two jobbers face each other, the Louisiana title match had unlimited time, so they had "standby" matches prepared in case the match ended early. Of course, they really knew exactly how long the match would take, but this back in the day that they pretended that it was a real sport, so the standby matches made it seem like the match length wasn't predetermined.
