The Peyton Manning monologue was really weak. The jokes weren't much worse than they usually are, but his comedic timing was just lacking. The actual awards aren't really worth much, but the good part is the stories. The stories of courage and hope and the survivors that this event highlights. That's a good reason to watch. Comparing a basketball team to a football team? Not so much.
